Scaling Cloud Native Impact Through African Ambassadors

When I decided to champion Cloud Native in Africa, it started as a passion project. Today, it is not only a passion project, but also an impact project.

The mission is simple, should you choose to accept it: To champion the adoption, development, and growth of Cloud Native in Africa.

I knew that one way to achieve this was to see more Ambassadors, thereby scaling impact. I’m excited to announce today that we have new African reps.

They are fellow co-organizers of KCD Nigeria (formerly KCD Africa), and they have been among the key contributors to open source and cloud-native initiatives right here in Africa. They’ve worked tirelessly to see to it that Cloud Native is ubiquitous.

Ambassadors, they were in their own rights. However, being officially recognized by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) carries a different feel.
