Putting Passion to Work: Building Africa's Cloud Native Community

When I discovered Kubernetes, it felt like a treasure that needed to be unearthed. It’s beautiful engineering endeared it to me even more. Holy grail! This was the offspring of Linux and the foundation of modern computing. I would go on to contribute to it, preach its gospel, and become an Ambassador of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), championing the adoption, development, and growth of Cloud Native.

On Wednesday (August 13), at the Community Health Analytics Open Source Software Conference, CHAOSScon Africa 2025, I will be sharing how several others and I, from Lagos to Nairobi, and across Africa, have been driving the growth of cloud native, where we are, where we hope to be, and how you can be a part of it.
